TTI İzmir to Bring Together the Global Tourism Industry in İzmir for the 19th Time

TTI İzmir – International Tourism Trade Expo and Congress, one of the most important meeting points of the tourism industry in Türkiye, will be organized for the 19th time between December 3–5, 2025 at Fuar İzmir. The expo will bring together domestic and international tourism professionals, offering valuable opportunities for business development, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Held under the auspices of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, and organized by İZFAŞ and TÜRSAB, TTI İzmir – International Tourism Trade Expo and Congress will present the latest industry trends to participants over three days. Standing out with its deep-rooted history, cultural heritage, natural beauty, ancient cities listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, rich museums, holiday resorts, developed tourism infrastructure, and strong exhibition tradition, İzmir will offer an inspiring atmosphere for tourism professionals from around the world.

Aims to Create New Market Opportunities

TTI İzmir stands out not only as Türkiye’s leading tourism expo but also as a global platform that brings the world’s tourism professionals together. One of the highlights of the expo will be the Hosted Buyer Program, which strengthens international participation. The program aims to create new market opportunities by connecting participating companies directly with buyers. Last year, professionals from 66 countries took part in the program, and this year the scope is being expanded even further. Sector professionals from a wide geography—from Europe to Asia, from Africa to the Middle East—will attend the expo as part of the hosted buyer delegation.

In addition to professionals from countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, and Uruguay, representatives from Egypt, Tunisia, other African countries, as well as Lebanon, Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates will also take part in the expo. Thanks to a specially developed online platform, participants and visitors will be matched based on their business interests and service categories, helping them connect with the right companies. With the support of Turkish Airlines, transportation assistance will also be provided to many foreign companies within the scope of the hosted buyer program, making one-to-one business meetings even more effective.

New Destinations and Experience Opportunities

The expo will not be limited to B2B meetings. Rising tourism destinations will be showcased in dedicated areas highlighting both domestic and international locations. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the cultural and touristic richness of different countries while discovering new business and partnership opportunities.

This year, many international hotel brands and global airline companies will also participate in the expo. Among the international exhibitors are the Ministry of Tourism of Tunisia and local agencies, the Sarajevo Tourism Association, the Novi Pazar Tourism Office, the Embassy of El Salvador, the Ministry of Tourism of Venezuela, the Seychelles Tourism Board, tourism and accommodation companies from Bulgaria, as well as exhibition representatives from Kosovo and Serbia. In addition, the official participation of the Greek Islands will pave the way for new collaborations between Türkiye and the Aegean region.

The Future of Tourism to Be Discussed at TTI Stage

TTI Stage, located within the expo area, will serve as the central platform for talks featuring innovative and visionary ideas from across the tourism industry. Panels will host representatives from local governments, international tour operators, airline companies, and hotel chains. Topics such as digital transformation, sustainable tourism, sustainability practices, emerging destination trends, and experience-focused tourism will be discussed in depth. Participants will be able to follow insights and perspectives shaping the future of the tourism sector.
