TTI Izmir – International Tourism Trade Expo & Congress will be held for the 19th time at Fuar Izmir between December 3–5, 2025. Ahead of the expo, a meeting was organized at the Historic Gas Factory, bringing together industry representatives and institutions. During this preparatory gathering for TTI Izmir 2025, the current status of the expo and the innovations planned for this year were shared, while participants’ expectations and evaluations were also received.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Dr. Zafer Levent Yıldır emphasized in his speech that Izmir, with its thousands-year-old history, is one of the most important centers of tourism in Turkey. He underlined that the municipality acts with a strategic vision aimed at carrying this strong heritage into the future. Yıldır said, “We want to preserve and carry the city’s historical heritage, cultural values, and natural beauty into the future with a sustainable approach. With its unique past, Izmir is not only a tourism destination but also a symbol of a living culture that produces, shares, and grows on this land. Strengthening Izmir’s tourism potential at both national and international levels requires branding, strong public-private cooperation, and collective wisdom. The TTI Izmir Expo plays a major role in growing our city’s tourism brand. Your participation, support, and contributions will be the strongest resource in enhancing Izmir’s tourism potential at a global level,” he said. Yıldır added, “The strength of Izmir lies in its people who produce together, share together, and believe in the future. This city belongs to all of us. With this belief, we will shape the future of tourism together at TTI Izmir.”

Expo Innovations Announced

Emphasis on Solidarity and Cooperation

Chairperson of TÜRSAB Izmir Regional Representation İsmail Hakkı Karadeveci emphasized that Izmir is not just a destination but a strong brand that stands out with its history, culture, nature, gastronomy, and people. He noted that they work with all stakeholders to grow this brand and position it where it deserves in global tourism.

Karadeveci stated, “The challenges we have experienced, from the pandemic to economic fluctuations, have shown that tourism can only stand strong through solidarity, innovation, and cooperation. Together with agencies, hotels, guides, and the transportation sector, we are developing new projects to expand Izmir’s tourism to all 12 months and increase high-quality tourism. As TÜRSAB, we are taking strong steps in education, digital transformation, regional promotion, and new market exploration. The Izmir Tourism Expo is a concrete reflection of these efforts. We believe that TTI Izmir will open doors to new collaborations and value-adding developments in the sector,” expressing his hopes that this meeting will give new momentum to Izmir’s tourism.
